Information we collect
Better Throws collects information you choose to provide when requesting coaching, signing a participation form, or requesting a free resource.
- Coaching requests: adult submitter name, email address, phone number, coaching interest, athlete level, event, age category, preferred training format, and the brief goal you provide.
- Participation forms: participant and adult signer names, adult contact information, age category, guardian relationship when applicable, event, session format, emergency contact information, required acknowledgments, electronic signature, confirmation number, document version, status, and signing date and time.
- Free-guide and email signups: the name and email address entered in the Kit form.
- Basic technical information that the website host and Kit may process to deliver the site, protect forms from abuse, and send requested emails.
How information is used
Submitting a coaching request permits Mike Pellet to contact you about that request. Marketing email may be stopped at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a Kit email.
- Respond to coaching inquiries and discuss scheduling or services.
- Deliver the requested starter guide and related Better Throws emails when you subscribe.
- Maintain coaching-request records and provide customer support.
- Protect the website, prevent spam, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where information goes
Coaching requests are sent to the Better Throws Kit account and may also be stored in the private Better Throws coaching-request system. Signed participation forms are stored in the Better Throws owner-only waiver system. Free-guide signups are processed by Kit. Website hosting providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the site.
- Better Throws does not sell personal information.
- Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the website, deliver email, or provide requested services.
- Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect safety, or defend legal rights.
Retention and your choices
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, safety, and applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing coachpellet@gmail.com. Completed electronic-signature records may need to be retained for legitimate business, safety, insurance, or legal purposes even after consent for future participation is withdrawn.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to stop future promotional messages.
- A coaching-request reply may still be sent when necessary to address a request you initiated.
Children and minors
A parent or legal guardian must submit coaching requests for athletes under 18. Children under 13 should not provide personal information directly through this website. If Better Throws learns that information was submitted directly by a child under 13 without appropriate parental involvement, it will be deleted.
Security, updates, and contact
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect submitted information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may be updated as services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
